The Finnish Seamen’s Church in the Netherlands is located in Rotterdam.

The largest port in Europe brings seafarers and heavy transport drivers to Rotterdam. A large number of Finns and their families also live in the Netherlands. Culture, tourism, business and study also bring Finns to the country.

The Finnish Seamen’s Church in Rotterdam offers everyone who is permanently or temporarily staying in the Netherlands a home atmosphere, church services, social activities, hobby opportunities, discussion and crisis assistance and practical advice.

Our cafeteria, shop, library and sauna are available during our opening hours:

At the church you will always find someone with whom you can speak Finnish. Our staff and volunteers will be happy to serve, help and guide you.

Open sauna shifts on Thursdays (no advance registration)

Even-numbered weeks

men’s sauna shift 6–8 pm

women’s sauna shift 8–10 pm

Odd-numbered weeks

women’s sauna shift 6–8 pm

men’s sauna shift 8–10 pm

Price 20 euros / person (15 euros / person for supporting members)

PRIVATE SAUNA
You can also reserve the sauna for your own use during the opening hours of the Seamen’s Church (excluding open sauna shifts on Thursdays).

Make a booking request via the online service below.
You will receive confirmation when we have accepted your reservation. Payment in cash or by card when visiting the sauna (please present your member card at the checkout, if applicable).

Prices

60 euros / hour (40 euros / hour for supporting members)
rental towel 5 euros

If you would like something to grill or serve in connection with the sauna, ask for a catering package.

Please remember to cancel your session, unless you are unable to use the sauna. The full price will be charged for any unused and uncancelled session.
